I will be showing my newest quilts, a series of landscape quilts never before shown (except a sneak preview at my quilt guild) at the Campanella Gallery at Park University in Parkville, MO. The show opens Tuesday, September 6 and will be up until October 14. If you're in the Parkville area (which is a very cute area to be in), check it out!

Confluence Conference in Minneapolis
Anyone going to the Surface Design Association Conference this June? I'll be there, sitting at the registration booth and attending as many lectures as I can. Come visit me! To register, go to the registration website. You have to be a member of either SDA or the Textile Center.

Arrowmont Workshop July 3-9
I will be teaching a "Hand Printing on Fabric" workshop at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts this summer. It is the week of July 4 which means midnight parade with fireworks. It's going to be a great workshop and a really fun week. Check it out and tell your friends!

Friday the 13th! Open Studio and Quilt Show
Stop by Kaw Valley Arts and Humanities at 756 Armstrong, Kansas City, KS AND Pressroom Studios at 750 Armstrong (they're in the same building) to see my quilts times 2.
Ne'Dra Bonds and Sherry Whetstone will also have quilts on display at KVAH as well as a Civil War Quilt display in the hallway. Then come downstairs to my new studio and see my new quilts. It's all very exciting!

I just got back from the Kansas City Quilt Guild meeting where I was a guest speaker. Those ladies (and gentleman) are what's what. Lots of nice work being made, tons of great support and community. Anyone in the greater KC area interested in modern quilts (a la Denyse Schmidt) needs to check them out.
